Projects
As an easily bored engineer, I tend to do a lot of projects in my free time. This habit got curtailed for a time due to World of Warcraft, but now that I've dumped that little time leach, I'm getting back into this stuff.
Some of my recent projects:
- Better learning Linux, and adventures in home networking
- A homemade server rack (Gotta keep all those systems organized somehow)
- Getting back into electronics and robotics - I've been working on the software-exclusive side of things for too long recently
- Fixing this website. Poor thing was blank for 3 years (I originally bought the domain and hosting for the email address), then spent a year and a half showing 5 minutes of unformatted notepad. It has now been upgraded to 30 minutes of notepad and 5 minutes of Paint, although I'll work on putting some actual content about my projects up here at some point.
Past projects:
- Battlebots! This was one of my big projects for several years. I competed in a total of 21 fights with 3 remote-control "robots". I don't have details of all of it online, but there is some information about my team's bots at my other website, Team Vortex.
